ADHD and neurodiversity support is one of our specialties and interests. We understand busy brains, careful brains, specific brains, thoughtful brains... and we admire them! It's unfortunate and inaccurate, in our humble opinion, that ADHD is labelled a disorder. ADHD to us, is not a "disorder", but a "complementary cognition", a different way of thinking and functioning.

Those with ADHD brains serve very important functions in our community, they are the problem-solvers, creatives, outside-the-box thinkers, risk-takers, motivators, stimulation managers, fun-seekers, spontaneous types and crisis calmers.

Did you know a high percentage of first-responders (police, firefighters, paramedics) have ADHD traits? They are the people we rely on in a crisis because they thrive and excel in these intense moments, the moments that overwhelm neurotypical individuals. Did you know that many of the inventors/artists/actors that have led to us having a comfortable, entertaining and enjoyable modern world were said to have ADHD traits? ADHD is something to be nurtured, harnessed and appreciated, not admonished.

ADHD Assessment

We use six different standardised psychometric tests, as well as interviews with various sources, observations and research to determine if ADHD fits for each client. Our process is lengthy (four weeks from testing to comprehensive report) because diagnosis must be accurate for each client to ensure appropriate treatment and support are offered.
